1. Boat tour reservations

A reservation made through this site only creates a booking request, not a payment. After submitting the form, you'll receive a unique confirmation code.

Payment and ticket pickup happen in person at our office, before departure. Bring your confirmation code with you.

Please arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes before departure time. Late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable.

Children up to and including age 3 travel free. Children aged 4–12 receive a 50% discount off the adult fare.

Once issued at our office, a ticket is valid for 24 hours from the time of issue. The Combo Pack voucher (Bridges Tour + Burmester Wine Cellar) remains valid for 48 hours once activated at either location.

2. Cancellations and refunds

• Refunds are only issued if the boat does not depart due to technical or operational reasons on our part.
• No refunds are given once the tour has started.
• No refunds are given for voluntary cancellations by the customer.
• Late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable.

3. Bike rentals

Bike rentals aren't booked through this site — they're arranged directly over WhatsApp, where our team confirms availability, dates, times, and your preferred mix of e-bikes and classic bikes. There's no online reservation or online payment for bikes.

A security deposit (cash caution or an official ID document) is required when you pick up the bike, and is returned at the end of the rental provided there's no unrepaired damage.

You are responsible for any damage caused to yourself or to third parties while using the bike.

Every bike rental, classic or electric, includes a helmet and lock at no extra cost.

4. Late returns and bike damage

A penalty of €1.00 per bike applies for every 5 minutes the bike is returned late, counted from the agreed return time.

If the bike isn't returned by the agreed drop-off time, you'll be charged for the next rental period/price bracket.

In case of damage, you'll be charged according to the spare-parts price list below. In case of total loss or irreparable damage, the full value of the bicycle is charged.

5. Boat tour operator

Boat tours are carried out by our partner Rota do Douro, under Portugal's National Register of Tourist Animation Agents (RNAAT) licence No. 45/2011. DURUS acts as booking agent and ticket reseller.

6. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. If a consumer dispute isn't resolved directly with us, you may turn to a consumer alternative dispute resolution entity under Law 144/2015 — more information at www.consumidor.gov.pt.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the most recent version. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the new terms.
